Join Hadassah Greater Detroit Nurses Council as Wendy Goldberg, Certified Nurse Practitioner, speaks about Florence Nightingale's contributions to science and health care and their relevance today. The talk will address impacts of scientific knowledge, cultural beliefs, political and legal influences, and the role of transparency and a free press on viewing and tackling health challenges.

Wendy Goldberg is a certified Nurse Practitioner in Adult Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing specializing in the psychosocial care of patients and families. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Maryland, and her Masters of Science in Adult Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing from Wayne State University. Wendy is a recipient of the Nightingale Award for Excellence in Nursing Practice and Henry Ford Health System's Diversity Hero Award. Ms. Goldberg has devoted her career to improving the well-being of patients and those who care for these individuals.
